Vánoce se neúprosně blíží a jak to tak bývá, zima taky. Venku začíná to správné mrazivé počasí, i když letos bych ráda podala oficiální stížnost na nedostatek sněhu. Fakt jsem se na sáňkování s holkama těšila... a zatím nic.

The Christmas are coming and so is the winter. It's starting to be chilly outside, and I'd like to file a complaint about the lack of snow. I was really looking forward to sledging with my girls...and so far nothing.

O co méně času ale trávíte venku, o to víc jej můžete věnovat vyrábění teplých vánočních dárků. Z poslední doby mě na internetu zaujaly dva výrobky.
The less time you spend outside, the more time you can spend creating warm Christmas gifts. Two creations has caught my eye lately.

Jako první (a po hodně dlouhé době) mě na Mimibazaru zaujala tato ušanka, která je uháčkována pomocí předních a zadních reliéfních sloupků. Když vezmete v úvahu střídaní barev, je výsledná kombinace moc povedená a určitě stojí za zmínku.
The first one I fell in love with (after very long time) on Mimibazar is this earflap (Czech only). It's crocheted with front and back relief stitch. Considering how the colours change, the resulting combination looks very good and is definitely worth mentioning.

Návod sice není bůhví jak sofistikovaně napsaný, ale vždycky máte možnost zeptat se v komentáři přímo autorky. Tuto čepici nedoporučuji pro začátečnice a určitě si nejdřív pročtěte komentáře (ušetříte si tak čas během tvoření).
The written instructions are not too sophisticated, but you can always use the possibility to ask the author herself in the comments below. I do not recommend this hat for beginners, and you should definitely first read the comments (,and so save yourself some time during crocheting).

Tato volba je spíš pro mladé slečny či pro dospělé. Návod je fantastický, protože jsou vyfoceny všechny hlavní kroky. Začínáte totiž od spodu - uháčkujete lem, sešijete jej a pak k němu začnete háčkovat zbytek čepice pomocí tzv. peciček (puff stitch).
This choice is more suitable for young girls or adults. The instructions are great because all major steps had been photographed. Beginning from the bottom, you crochet the border, sew it together, and then start crocheting the rest using the puff stitch.
